I am sobbing right now. My buddy is sitting right next to me on the couch, God knows the two of us would be lost without eachother. They are such a misunderstood breed. My Oscar is such a love bug and so is every other pit bull I have ever come in contact with. I adopted him unaware of the "pit bull" steriotype. I would never get any other kingof dog after him.

It will always be the owners fault not the dog or breeds fault so... I love your slide show and millions more should make more like it. California has to make up some trouble to get more attention to themselves over something stupid and very inhumane...Why??? because they are trying to descriminate a certain breed and if we let them we probably won't have any kind of dog left and it may even get passed overseas if it passes in California then the rest of the states so if anyone reads this help save the pitbulls before they get destroyed for doing what they were taught...Thanx

Pitbulls arn't the only dogs to attack a human being. that law California is trying to pass is a bunch of bull**** and any animal shouldn't have to go through any kind of descrimination.Pitbulls are the most loving animal in the world if you know how to take care and love and train them the right way. It's never the dogs fault... it's the owners fault...that's right the owners are the ones who give a dog their manners... so to spaek. Help make sure that that law doesn't pass... that the pitbulls don't get descriminated. WHo knows what kind of stupid, dumb *** law their gonna try to pass next...

My sister owns 4 PB and she also has 3 kids, one 5, one 3 , and a 2 month old and thos dogs don't let anyone near them unless they know you or my brother-in-law tells them its ok. PB are just like the other breeds, they have this instinct to protect their family. There are owners who train their dogs to attack and owners who use their dogs to gamble. Thats's why you hear about so many attacks 'cause the owners train them wrong. I love PB with all my heart and I'd hate to see that law go into effect cause then it would be all over the U.S. and pretty soon they would say that toy dogs are dangerous. It all depends on the owner not the Breed. PITBULLS ARE INNOCENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How would you like it if you were a pitbull living in California?

I love your slide. I would love to have it on my MySpace page. I have always hated the way that people steriotype Pits. I remember going to the Humane Society here in Memphis and they had so many Pits but they wouldn't let you adopt them. There was a lady there that eventually was able to get one because we argued with them for so long. I have two and my female just had puppies. I love my Pits very much. Thanks for that.

I am a pitbull lover. I have 8 pitts at home--6 pups and the parents. My experience with both the parents and my pups over the past 8 years has been nothing but magical. These dogs are overly intelligent and are so misunderstood and maliciously stereotyped. huneibunch@yahoo.com

I am so proud that someone put all of their effort into this slide. We have a 3 year old and a new 7 week old pit bulls. I couldn't ask for any other dog. They are the best dogs I've ever had. Their love is unconditional and they know they are loved more than ever! Thank you for trying to change the mentality of the close minded!

Just wanted to say this is great! As a pitbull lover and owner, it is important to spread the word that these lovebugs are wonderful friends and the best family dog you could ask for! Thank you for being a voice!

I have to agree with everyone on this site. I have a 4 yr old American Pit. Very well trained. He is hands down the best dog I ever had. Everyone always told me dont get that dog your crazy. That dog is going to kill some one. Well my dad was right he caused serious injury. About 2 months ago a male broke into my house when i was sleeping. my dog "Duke" was sleeping right next to me. He was always a daddys boy. All i rember was him waking up charging down the hall way. i new something was wrong at that point. before i could get up there was a man down in the hall. duke seriously wounded the person. Pit bulls may have a bad name, a bad rep., and yeah can be aggressive at some points but this is reality. If Duke wasn't there who knows what would of happened... I strongly agree with the saying a dog is amans best friend. pit buls protect there owners...

I have a couple of friends who own a pit bull, and My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of dog sitting for them. We had T.C. for about 2 weeks. He was the sweetest and most happy dog. They treat him like a child and he is truely a loving companion.

I myself own a pitt bull. And he means the world to me!! I have 4 small children at home and he has NEVER once shown any sign of aggression. My kids can sit on his back while hes eating and all he knows is that hes getting attention. And like any living creature, he loves it. This slideshow really touched my heart and it's great to know that there is a group of us who strongly feel the same. I'm so tired of all the prejudice. It's all on how they are raised, just as it is with a child. And no one is trying to ban childbirth.
